Cindy Adams began her career in academia where she is now a Professor Emerita and a retired psychologist. Her early writing was in journal articles, textbooks, and trade books in health-related areas. In 2019 she published Italian Spices: A Memoir about the Italian side of her family. The Farmhouse on Cemetery Hill Road was her first novel. In the Spring of 2021, she published its sequel, The Portal, and then completed the trilogy with AH, GRACE! She has just completed THE RED TOQUE: LOVE AND LOSS IN THE TIME OF TITO, based on actual people who experienced WWII in Eastern Europe... It tells the story of a family growing up in Slovenia through two world wars. There is heartbreak and loss, but eventually, triumph as they come through the war. Her short story, If you Met Him Today was selected for an anthology, A Feast of Narrative, volume 3, Dossena, 2020; and The Horror Zine's Book of Werewolf Stories, 2022 includes Herbert-Bruschi Adams PUPs in this anthology edited by Jeani Rector and Dean Wild, available on Amazon.
